Android 6.0 Marshmallow #1411
Android 6.0 "Marshmallow" is a version of the Android mobile operating system. Android Marshmallow was initially announced at Google I/O on May 28, when it was released as the Android M developer preview. Several updates to the preview came out before Marshmallow was officially named on August 17. Google finally unveiled Android 6.0 Marshmallow, alongside the 2015 Nexus devices, on September 29, 2015. The biggest features coming in this version are small things people will appreciate every day, like individual app permissions, native support for fingerprint sensors, and granular context features for Google Now. We're also going to see developers do more with Chrome, better app-to-app communication, and new power management features.
