The Basic Model of the Upcoming Galaxy Flagships Will Probably Be Called S10 E

11.01.2019

Big fans of Galaxy devices have long been in wait for the new S series flagships. It was expected that the Korean company was going to release three different models of the S10 that would differ in specifications and price as a result. The previous reports suggested that the cheapest model with lower specs would be the S10 Lite. However, the latest news tells that it might be the Galaxy S10E.

Of course, the received information isn’t officially approved, but a retailer of screen protectors from China claims that he has tested his products on the S10 E which is going to be the cheapest among the new S series handsets. What is more, if to believe this very report, the mentioned smartphone will lack for in-display fingerprint scanner. So, there is a possibility that the consumers will be offered three different models of upcoming flagships, including The Galaxy S10 E, S10 and its Plus-sized version with display sizes of 5.8, 6.1 and 6.4 inches respectively.

Since Samsung has decided to provide the cheap version of the top handsets to make it more affordable for the consumers, it’s evident that the device will lack for some significant options. The Galaxy S10 E is expected to have the flat Infinity O display so it’s clear that there won’t be an in-display fingerprint scanner. Taking into consideration the leaked pictures of protective cases we may suppose that none of the three models will have a fingerprint sensor on the back panel. It doesn’t mean that this option will be absolutely absent. Perhaps, it will be located at the side of the device. The only thing is evident is that the iris sensor won’t be on board because of the Infinity O display.

It’s clear that the information given above can’t be absolutely trustworthy so all we have to do is to wait for the official reports from Samsung.
