15.02.2019

In less than a week before the Unpacked event, a set of new Samsung wearables have been leaked after the Android Galaxy Wearable App update. Users could see the list of new devices that are about to hit the market. They included Watch Active, Galaxy Fit, and Galaxy Buds wireless headphones to compete with Apple's AirPods.

All new devices are very likely to join the Galaxy Watch collection in the nearest future. According to the Wearable App update, some of them can be unveiled during the Unpacked event along with some other Samsung devices and mostly smartphones.

What Is Galaxy Watch Active?

This one is among the most anticipated Samsung wearable devices. Also known under the Galaxy Sport moniker, the new smartwatch is rumored to feature a thin bezel-less screen in addition to a 40mm case. The image of the case is displayed on the updated application. It is yet unclear if the device will run on the Tizen OS or it will get the new Wear operating system.

The gadget will run with the 235mAh battery and display all necessary information via 1.1-inch AMOLED screen. Rumors say that the new device will also get a wireless charging functionality the same as implemented in the Galaxy S10.

Galaxy Buds Wireless Headphones

Samsung is also expected to introduce its Galaxy Buds wireless headphones to get its place on the market and fight back Apple's AirPods. The headphones will be available for customers who place S10 pre-orders within a particular region. The main feature that will let it stand out from the main competitors is wireless charging support as well as reverse charging functionality that can also be found in S10.
