The Korean giant is ready to provide a Tizen4.0 update for the Gear S3 and Gear Sport that is aimed to bring some new fixes and improvements to make the older Gear series pretty competitive. Besides the mentioned update for the smartwatches, Samsung also offers to update the Gear S Plugin application for new options in Galaxy Wearable that is considered to be a companion application.
The main idea of the update is to provide fresh options for Gear S users that are already available for the Galaxy Watch owners. It will become possible to make even more changes in the smartwatch settings using the handset. Now it will be easier to customize the watch faces and get a preview with the help of a new tab. And of course, a number of irritating errors will be fixed.
The users might also appreciate a new option that allows them to set off particular applications with a double-tap of the Home button. What is more, the Gear S owners will finally get rid of irritating notifications that concern Gear connection or wrong widget choice. Previously the smartwatch users faced the problems of the battery discharge soon after the update. This time the developers could avoid the mentioned irritating issue. Actually, there have been some reports from the users who noticed the battery life improvement.
