Samsung Galaxy A52 5G (SM-A5260) Firmware Overview
What is the latest SM-A5260 firmware?
A5260ZCUCGZE1, released May 18, 2026 with Android 14. It is a feature update on bootloader binary 12. The archive holds 24 official builds across 3 regions (CSC).
Is the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G still getting updates?
Yes. The newest build is from May 2026, and 1 of 3 regions already have a build from that month; the rest usually follow within a few weeks.
Can I downgrade the SM-A5260 firmware?
Only to builds with the same bootloader binary (the Bit column) or higher. In the archive the binary of this model rose from 6 to 12:
- Binary 12 — since Mar 2025
- Binary 11 — since Nov 2024
- Binary 10 — since Oct 2024
- Binary 9 — since Jul 2024
- Binary 8 — since May 2024
- Binary 7 — since Apr 2024
- Binary 6 — since Mar 2024
A phone already on binary 12 rejects builds with a lower binary in Odin ("SW REV CHECK FAIL"), so it can go back to an earlier Android version only if that version has a binary 12 build. How to read a build number.
