Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro (SM-C7010) Firmware Overview
What is the latest SM-C7010 firmware?
C7010ZHS3CSC1, released April 19, 2019 with Android 8. It is a security update on bootloader binary 3. The archive holds 20 official builds across 2 regions (CSC). Each one is the full stock ROM (flash file) for Odin, not an OTA patch.
Is the Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro still getting updates?
Most likely not: there has been no new firmware since April 2019, so Android 8 is the last version this model got. The final builds below are still the best choice for a clean reinstall.
Which Android versions did it get?
The SM-C7010 builds in the archive run Android 7 to 8. The earliest build we have for each version:
- Android 8: C7010ZHU1CRG8 (Jul 2018), 9 builds in total
- Android 7: C7010ZCU1BQL3 (Dec 2017), 9 builds in total
Can I downgrade the SM-C7010 firmware?
Only to builds with the same bootloader binary (the Bit column) or higher. In the archive the binary of this model rose from 1 to 3:
- Binary 3 — since Mar 2019
- Binary 2 — since Aug 2018
- Binary 1 — since Mar 2017
A phone already on binary 3 rejects builds with a lower binary in Odin ("SW REV CHECK FAIL"), so it can go back to an earlier Android version only if that version has a binary 3 build. How to read a build number.
