Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 (SM-G525F) Firmware Overview
What is the latest SM-G525F firmware?
G525FXXUKEZH2, released August 26, 2026 with Android 14. It is a feature update on bootloader binary 20. The archive holds 43 official builds across 28 regions (CSC).
Is the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 still getting updates?
Yes. The newest build is from August 2026, and 22 of 28 regions already have a build from that month; the rest usually follow within a few weeks.
Can I downgrade the SM-G525F firmware?
Only to builds with the same bootloader binary (the Bit column) or higher. In the archive the binary of this model rose from 19 to 20:
- Binary 20 — since Aug 2026
- Binary 19 — since May 2026
A phone already on binary 20 rejects builds with a lower binary in Odin ("SW REV CHECK FAIL"), so it can go back to an earlier Android version only if that version has a binary 20 build. How to read a build number.
