Samsung Galaxy Note PRO 12.2 (WiFi) SM-P900 Firmware Overview
What is the latest SM-P900 firmware?
P900XXS0BRI1, released November 14, 2018 with Android 5.0.2. It is a security update on bootloader binary 0. The archive holds 20 official builds across 18 regions (CSC). Each one is the full stock ROM (flash file) for Odin, not an OTA patch.
Is the Samsung Galaxy Note PRO 12.2 (WiFi) still getting updates?
Most likely not: there has been no new firmware since November 2018, so Android 5.0.2 is the last version this model got. The final builds below are still the best choice for a clean reinstall.
Which Android versions did it get?
The SM-P900 builds in the archive run Android 4.4.2 to 5.0.2. The earliest build we have for each version:
- Android 5.0.2: P900XXS0BPL2 (Mar 2017), 17 builds in total
- Android 4.4.2: P900XXS0BPL2 (Mar 2017), 3 builds in total
Can I downgrade the SM-P900 firmware?
Only to builds with the same bootloader binary (the Bit column) or higher. In the archive the binary of this model rose from 0 to 1:
- Binary 1 — since Mar 2014
- Binary 0 — since Jun 2015
A phone already on binary 1 rejects builds with a lower binary in Odin ("SW REV CHECK FAIL"), so it can go back to an earlier Android version only if that version has a binary 1 build. How to read a build number.
