Samsung SM-T867U Firmware Overview
What is the latest SM-T867U firmware?
T867USQUADXJ1, released October 4, 2024 with Android 12. It is a feature update on bootloader binary 10. The archive holds 20 official builds across 2 regions (CSC).
Is the Samsung SM-T867U still getting updates?
Most likely not: there has been no new firmware since October 2024, so Android 12 is the last version this model got. The final builds below are still the best choice for a clean reinstall.
Can I downgrade the SM-T867U firmware?
Only to builds with the same bootloader binary (the Bit column) or higher. In the archive the binary of this model rose from 7 to 10:
- Binary 10 — since Nov 2023
- Binary 9 — since Jul 2023
- Binary 8 — since Jan 2023
- Binary 7 — since May 2022
A phone already on binary 10 rejects builds with a lower binary in Odin ("SW REV CHECK FAIL"), so it can go back to an earlier Android version only if that version has a binary 10 build. How to read a build number.
